Why won't my grill get as hot as my thermometer says it should?
Weber grills are designed to max out between about 260° and 290° C. There simply isn’t a reason to get a gas grill much past 290° C and once you’re past that point the potential for burning food goes up a lot. Also, Weber grills aren’t designed just for quality and dependability, they’re also meant to be efficient, and running a grill at 400° C would mean that a lot more fuel is being consumed while not necessarily providing much in the way of benefits.
When do I replace the hose and regulator?
Weber recommend replacing the hose and regulator every 5th year*. However, if the hose is damaged in any way, do not use the grill before a replacement is installed. Routine inspection is necessary to ensure a safe grilling experience.
How far away should my grill be from my house/deck?
All Weber barbecue models should be used a minimum of 2 feet/24 inches/61 cm away from recreational vehicles and combustible materials. This includes the back and sides of the grill.
Combustible materials include, but are not limited to, wood or treated wood decks, patios, and porches.
