Hebe Rhubarb & Custard 2 Litre

A striking hebe with wonderful multicoloured leaves, variegated with cream, pink and yellow throughout the year. In summer the plant is covered with short spikes of starry violet flowers loved by bees and butterflies. A hardy hebe, perfect for any small garden, in winter the leaves flush deep red-pink. Growing to only 60cm (2ft) or so it forms a neat, rounded shrub.

Plant in full sun or semi shade in a sheltered situation in a bed or border. Perfect for a pot on the patio, balcony or in a courtyard.

Any well-drained fertile soil that is not too dry. Best pruned in spring, cutting back to where new shoots are emerging lower down in the shrub. This is only necessary on older plants.
