How to use the Gardman Soil PH Test Tube: 

1. Take a sample of soil from about 4″ below the surface. 

2. Remove the cap from the tube and remove the capsule. 

3. Fill the tube with soil to the first line. Carefully open the capsule and pour the powder into the tube. 

4. Add water (preferably bottled) to the fourth line. Replace the cap and shake the tube thoroughly. Allow the soil to settle and then compare the colour of the solution to the pH colour chart on the front
