Warm Wishes

The Warm Wishes colour palette consists of brandy, warm pistachio, pine green, pink blossom and dark rose. Together, these shades create a rich look that feels warm, stylish and playful all at once.

The trend also makes generous use of colour drenching, where one colour is repeated in different places and in varying shades. Think of a green wall combined with a green tablecloth and Christmas decorations in several shades of green. Alternatively, pair a soft pink chair with pink baubles, candlesticks and ribbons. Using one colour generously creates a look that feels both harmonious and striking.

Presents are an important source of inspiration within Warm Wishes – not only beneath the Christmas tree, but also amongst its branches and across the festive table. Baubles are decorated with ribbons, cords and patterns reminiscent of beautifully wrapped presents, while other ornaments take the form of bows or elegant hanging decorations.

Typical decorations for Warm Wishes include:

• Christmas baubles in brandy, warm pistachio, pine green, pink blossom and dark rose;
• ornaments shaped like presents, bows and tassels;
• striped ribbons and large decorative bows;
• golden stars, shooting stars and other symbols of good fortune;
• paper honeycomb decorations and folded Christmas trees;
• glossy baubles decorated with embossed details, beads or elegant patterns;
• candlesticks and candles in different colours and heights;
• warm white Christmas lights for a soft, golden glow.

As Warm Wishes takes much of its inspiration from gifts, the wrapping deserves some extra attention. Choose wrapping paper in dark green, pink or brandy, or opt for a cheerful striped pattern. Mix different designs while keeping to the same colour palette to ensure your pile of presents still feels harmonious.

Explore the different colour combinations and try a shade you might not normally associate with Christmas. You may discover that soft pink looks beautiful alongside pine green, or that pistachio green gives your Christmas tree exactly the fresh accent it needs. You can embrace the entire trend or simply introduce a few new baubles and one statement bow to give your existing Christmas decorations a completely new look.
